Attorneys and staff at Carol E. Heron & Associates provide client-centered counseling, representation, including trial work, on all issues relating to dissolution of marriage, including spousal and child support, child custody and visitation, property division, pensions, and post-divorce needs. We also are experienced in adoption and paternity matters. Further available services include negotiation and drafting of pre-nuptial, inter-spousal, cohabitation, domestic partnership and "transmutation" agreements; emergency and temporary orders for personal safety and child custody; and interstate and international custody cases, among others.

Probate, Estate Planning, Guardianship and Conservatorship

Over a period of nearly twenty years, Carol E. Heron has handled scores of probate, guardianship and conservatorship cases. We have successfully attained distributions to beneficiaries of large estates; and obtained appropriate legal authority for those in need of a legal caretaker.

We also have experience in evaluating your estate for protection from judgment creditors and pre- and post-death estate managements. We draft customized will and trusts in varying levels of complexity and sophistication, according to your needs.

If litigation is required in a contested environment, we do not hesitate vigorously to take your position.

Real Estate

Carol Heron carries out documents drafting such as customized real estate ownership agreements, as well as pre-litigation negotiations and full-blown lawsuits in arbitration/mediation environments or in the law courts, for residential and commercial real estate owners and potential owners: breach of purchase and sale contract, foreclosure issues, specific performance, slander of title, fraud, adverse possession, easements, boundary disputes, homeowners' association problems, severance of joint tenancy, and, more.

Business Contracts

Carol E. Heron has nearly twenty years experience in drafting and litigation in a broad range of subject matters. The firm has resources to incorporate your business or to negotiate and create partnership agreements; and to handle disputes as may arise as debtor contract breach or delicate negotiation concerning an employee or partner in business.
